The Singapore Flyer is a giant observation wheel set to be Asia’s most visible iconic visitor attraction which visitors can experience some of the best views in the entire region.

It will take me up in one of the 28 capsules which measure 4 metres by 7 metres, 165 metres (the height of a 42-storey building) from the ground at the Marina Bay area providing breathtaking, for a 37 minutes panoramic views of Singapore and beyond.

Each capsule is fully air-conditioned and UV protected with capacity for up to 30 people each.
The giant wheel is 150 meters in diameter , features brilliant engineering breakthroughs that is a world apart from the traditional ferris wheel.

Working in the hotel and tourism industry

1. We work in weird shifts... Like aprostitute
2. They pay you to make the clienthappy... Like a prostitute
3. The client pays a lot of money, butyour employer keeps almost everypenny... Like a prostitute
4. You are rewarded for fulfilling theclients ideas...Like the prostitutes
5. Your friends fall apart and you endup hanging out with people in the sameprofession as you as ...the prostitutes
6. When you have to meet the client youalways have to be perfectly groomed...like a prostitute
7. But when you go back home it seemslike you are coming back fromhell... As the prostitutes
8. The client always wants to pay lessbut expects incredible things fromyou... as from the prostitutes
9. When people ask you about your job,you have difficulties to explainit.. ..as the prostitutes
10. If things turn out to be wrong isalways your fault.. as theprostitutes
11. Everyday when u wake up you say: IMNOT GONNA SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFEDOING THIS.....like a prostitute
REMARKS;The only difference is that theprostitutes can take xmas and new yearseve off and they actually do a lot ofMoney!!!

Donut Factory

Whenever I'm in Marina or Raffles or Suntec area, I can always see people carrying a big bag with at least 2 boxes of doughnuts. And I always wonder how nice is that shop that sells doughnuts. Few weeks ago, thought of trying it out but the moment I see the queue, I turned and say goodbye. Promised myself to be back again some other time.

I went back again tonight after work telling myself that no matter how long is the queue, I must give it a try this time.
